The churchwarden went up the tower of Salthouse Church
and took photos to the west, north and south of the village

In this view, looking easterly from the tower, we are seeing the Manor Farm House in central foreground where the High family, who managed the Manor farm, have lived for generations.
   
    In the middle distance, 'the Crick'  widens into the duck pond -
(old name: 'Springholes') - and Gramborough Hill  can just be seen faintly on the sky line  with the sea beyond.
Roman pottery has been found there.
